Low Fat, Low Carb Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup SplendaŽ
- ˝ cup Brown Sugar (SplendaŽ Brown Sugar is available)
- 3 Tbsp. Butter
- 1/3 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 Egg Whites
- 3/4 cup Oat Bran
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- ˝ tsp. Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1 ˝ cup Oats
- ˝ cup Raisins
- ˝ cup Walnuts (more if desired) Almonds or pecans can be
substituted
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together. Except oats, raisins and nuts
Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
Add oats, raisins and nuts.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-9 minutes.
Makes 2 dozen cookies.
Keep in a container. Refrigerate or freeze for freshness.
