Low Fat, Low Carb Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup SplendaŽ
  • ˝ cup Brown Sugar (SplendaŽ Brown Sugar is available)
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/3 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 Egg Whites
     
  • 3/4 cup Oat Bran
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • ˝ tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1 ˝ cup Oats
  • ˝ cup Raisins
  • ˝ cup Walnuts (more if desired) Almonds or pecans can be substituted

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients together. Except oats, raisins and nuts

Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.

Add oats, raisins and nuts.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-9 minutes.

Makes 2 dozen cookies.

Keep in a container. Refrigerate or freeze for freshness.
