Zach DuFresne

Zach is an interesting lad to say the least.  From the moment we met him we knew that he "got it."  Zach set a new endurance record for an intern serving well over six months without a nervous breakdown.

Zach also made history by becoming the first "apprentice" in WYCD morning show history.  After he graduated from the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts & Blast Furnace Repair, he desperately wanted remain with us so our good friend at Specs, Dick Kernen, pulled some strings and got him the apprentice gig.

Zach immediately bonded with Lisa Barry although our receptionist termed the relationship "disturbing."  And she has a clear view into the control room from her position in the lobby so apparently she saw something that the rest of us didn't catch!

Zach is a natural with people.  And the very first time we placed a microphone in his hands he took to it like a gorilla would handle a banana -- he knew exactly what to do.

Zach is a talented young man and it is our prediction that he'll wind up on radio, TV or in a cockroach infested prison in El Salvador.

We all wish Zach the very best with his future plans
