WILLIAM HARVEY

William joined the morning show in early February of 2004. Like so many of his past comrades, William is a student of the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts and Bar Tending Academy. He suffered through relentless hazing until he just couldn't take it any more in May of 2004. Who could blame him?

We had "dueling interns" briefly during the time of the Downtown Hoedown (William and Patti Collins) and that's the last we saw of William. He just disappeared although he did call us on Sunday of the event saying that he couldn't come because his mom was making him clean up his room. Hey the guy is 21, what's up with that?

William, having graduated from Specs, is hoping to land a gig at a slaughterhouse. But if that doesn't work out he says he's got a standing offer on "the table" to be a go-go dancer at Danny's in Windsor. Who knew?!!! I guess he went there so often over the years they just offered him a job.

We had a blast with William on board. He's a great guy and has a great set of pipes. You'll be hearing him coming out of a speaker one of these days: "Would you like fries with that?"

William was a real pleasure. I hope he'll keep in touch.

Update late 2004 / early 2005: William is now jocking on some obscure station in Athens, Ohio. He says the main payoff is the "hot and cold running chicks" from Ohio University there. When he's off the air he conducts organized panty raids charging each customer $25 and they get to keep the panties. What a racket, William! Keep in touch, good friend.
