Laura Luchtman

Laura was enslaved as the morning show intern during late August of 2004. Like so many other victims, Laura came to us from the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts and Leather Tannery. Nearing exhaustion from the mental abuse, she held on until October and then fled undetected during the middle of the night. Laura was only the second morning show intern in history to actually graduate from Specs and continue serving as an intern under their apprentice program, whatever that is.

If you attend many WYCD remote functions you'll probably see Laura as she continues in her part-time roll as gopher/grunt in our promotions department. She's the one you have to beg to get a tee-shirt.

Laura is married to long time companion Adam (she pronounces his name "AY-dumb") and they live somewhere on the east side of town where he runs a massage parlor. When Laura's not attending events for WYCD you'll find her running Karaoke nights at various sleazy bars. In all seriousness, Laura was great to have around. She probably complained less than any other intern when we dispatched her to steal fresh rolls of Scotch tape from the sales department before they came in.

We wish Laura all the best with future endeavors. And it's nice to see her at the station from time to time as she sneaks in to swipe valuable items out of the prize closet.
